A professional roofing tool essential for quick and trouble-free shaping—corrugating sheet metal.
Performs precise corrugation in round ducts and pipes made of galvanized steel and aluminum, as well as black furnace pipes. The attachment’s drive shaft is inserted into the screwdriver chuck. The attachment’s telescopic clamp adjusts to fit the length and width of most screwdriver housings.
Once installed, the tool can be easily operated with one hand. Rotating the screwdriver handle causes the interlocking teeth on the attachment’s gears to rotate, providing the desired crimping action and pushing the metal out the right side of the tool. To open the gears and facilitate inserting and removing metal from the tool’s socket, set the attachment lever to the lower position. When the lever is set to the upper position, the crimping depth is factory-set for galvanized steel with a thickness of 0.48 to 0.56 mm. For thinner sheets, retract the lever or adjust its maximum travel using the set screws.
The attachment is equipped with a clutch in the gear mechanism to prevent damage if the forces generated during sheet crimping are too high.
The narrow gap in the working mechanism prevents fingers from entering the gear area.
