The ZGE-2000/1.5 segment bending machine is a compact and easy to operate machine. Appropriate cross-sections of working beams and massive bodies of machine's sides enable bending of steel sheets with thickness up to 1,5 mm. Functional and reliable in use, it guarantees trouble free operation without deformation of working elements. A foot-operated upper clamping beam drive gives the operator the possibility of free manoeuvring of the material while performing sheet metal work.
The pressing beam is a movable beam which serves for fixing the sheet metal in a desired position. It is raised and lowered by means of foot pedals. Thanks to the application of the LG inverter in the control of the bending machine, the speed of lifting and lowering of the upper beam is stepless. The clamping beam is designed in such a way that its upper part constitutes a guide for the shears.
The bending operation is carried out by rotating the bending beam by a defined angle value using a handle. A protractor mounted on the left side of the bending bar, when viewed from the front, indicates the current bending angle of the sheet metal.
Bending beam has adjustable position in relation to the fixed beam. This parameter affects the bending radius of the sheet metal and its size also depends on the thickness of the bent sheet metal.
The working beams are equipped with tensioners used to set straightness of the working edges.
The components of the bending machine are manufactured on precision CNC machines.
